The flue gas cooling and atomization system is primarily used to cool flue gases inside large-diameter pipelines, reducing gas temperature and ensuring the smooth operation of downstream process units. System features: ● Specially designed nozzles atomize water into droplets with diameters below 100 microns, which rapidly absorb heat from the high‑temperature flue gas, vaporize into steam, and thereby lower the gas temperature. ● The atomized water mist covers a wide area; the maximum spray diameter of the gas–liquid atomizing nozzle can reach 3–4 meters, enabling more thorough mixing with the flue gas and enhancing cooling and conditioning efficiency. ● Significant energy savings, as fine atomization can be achieved under relatively low gas pressures. ● Wide range of water‑flow adjustment: by automatically regulating water and gas pressures, the spray flow rate can be continuously varied between the maximum design capacity and zero. ● Strong dust‑capture capability, thanks to the fine particle size of the atomized droplets and their rapid departure from the nozzle. ● Automatic adjustment of spray volume in response to changes in flue gas temperature, maintaining the outlet temperature of the dust collector within an appropriate range; the control system is stable, reliable, and highly accurate. System applications: ● Semi‑dry spray desulfurization for coal‑fired boilers ● Emergency cooling of flue gases in power plant boilers ● Spray cooling and gas‑cooling at the top of blast furnaces ● Spray cooling of high‑temperature flue gases in non‑ferrous metal smelting ● Dry‑type spray cooling of flue gases within gravity dust collectors for blast furnaces ● Evaporative cooling of flue gases in electric‑arc furnace steelmaking plants ● Applications in ceramic, glass, sintering, chemical, and other industries.

  • Flue Gas Cooling Spray System Video

It is primarily used for cooling flue gas inside large-diameter pipelines, reducing the gas temperature and ensuring the normal operation of downstream process units.

    System Features:

The specially designed nozzle atomizes water into droplets with diameters of less than 100 microns, which rapidly absorb heat from the flue gas at high temperatures, vaporize into steam, and thereby reduce the flue gas temperature.

The atomized water mist covers a large area, and the maximum atomization diameter of the gas–liquid atomizing spray gun can reach 3m -4 m, enabling more thorough mixing with the flue gas and thereby enhancing the efficiency of flue-gas cooling and conditioning.

It delivers significant energy savings and enables fine atomization under low gas pressure conditions.

The water‑flow adjustment range is wide. For gas–liquid atomizing nozzles, automatic regulation of water and gas pressures enables continuous adjustment of the spray flow rate between the maximum design flow and zero.

It boasts strong dust‑capture capability, produces fine atomized droplets, and ensures rapid departure from the nozzle.

The system automatically adjusts the spray‑gun water flow rate in response to changes in flue gas temperature, ensuring that the dust collector outlet temperature remains within an appropriate range. The control system is stable, reliable, and accurate.

    System-wide

Semi-Dry Spray Desulfurization for Coal-Fired Boilers

. Accident cooling of flue gas in power plant boilers

. Blast furnace top spray cooling, Gas cooling and temperature reduction

. Spray cooling of high-temperature flue gases from nonferrous metal smelting

Dry spray cooling of flue gas in a blast furnace gravity dust collector

. Evaporative cooling of flue gas from an electric-arc furnace steel plant

. Spray cooling of high-temperature flue gases in industries such as ceramics, glass, sintering, and chemical processing

    Project Case:

Our company designed this system for a power plant in Dalian, with a flue gas flow rate of 360,000 Nm³/h, an initial spray temperature of 175°C, and a shutdown spray temperature of 145°C. The equipment is controlled by a Mitsubishi PLC from Japan, featuring automatic sensing, automatic start-up, and automatic shut-down; the entire design, installation, and commissioning were carried out by our company.
