A fine liquid jet ejected from the nozzle’s orifice strikes a target needle positioned directly opposite, with a diameter equal to that of the orifice, thereby producing an extremely fine mist. In certain applications, this nozzle can even replace many costly dual‑fluid air‑atomizing nozzles that use compressed air or steam as the secondary fluid. The nozzle’s orifice diameter ranges from 0.1 mm to 0.5 mm, featuring either ruby‑inlaid or hardened stainless‑steel orifices. Operating at pressures between 5 kg and 30 kg, it generates an ultra‑fine mist suitable for a wide range of uses, including artificial fogging, livestock facilities, greenhouses, and other applications requiring humidification via atomization. With a power consumption of just 3 W per kilogram of mist produced, its operating costs are exceptionally low.
